Changelog
Browser and document tools, included
Browser automation, document conversion, and web search now ship with Prokop instead of needing separately installed tools.
Work with your browser
Agents can read pages, find interactive elements, navigate, interact with controls, and manage tabs across Chrome windows. The tools now come with the server.
You still need the separately installed and connected ProkopaiBrowser Chrome extension. See the browser setup guide to connect it.
Bring documents into the conversation
The built-in document converter turns PDF, Microsoft Office, LibreOffice, and ZIP files into Markdown an agent can read. It works in the compiled server binary too, with a 50 MB file-size limit.
Tavily web search is also built in, with topic, date, country, and domain filters. It still needs your Tavily API key.
If you used the older tool integrations
Prokop no longer installs or updates external tools from a managed repository. Built-in tools arrive with the server; user-prepared external tools can still be loaded from ~/.prokopai/tools/.
Gmail OAuth and the repository-provided Gmail and Discord tools have been removed. Tavily crawl, extract, and map have also been removed; Tavily search remains available.
